The Pasadena Police Department Auto Theft Division is comprised of six investigators and one supervisor. Our duties include investigating auto theft, burglary of motor vehicle and all other auto related crimes in the City of Pasadena. We also teach the Citizens Police Academy, Police cadets and conduct public awareness events throughout the city of Pasadena (VIN etch, flyer distribution, report cards, etc...) The unit is also responsible for 68A inspections and auto shop and salvage yard inspections.
