Covering 4,702 miles, a population of 396,105, the HOTATTF continually works with other agencies to become a connection point to attack vehicle crimes. Information is received/distributed to agencies so more officers can be proactive in vehicle theft/burglaries. HOTATTF works with ABTPA grants to identify organized crime rings, known offenders, etc. We create partnerships with counties and municipalities to combat vehicle related crimes. We coordinate with crime stoppers programs and distribute brochures in English and Spanish to the citizens of our coverage area. We do presentations to groups/organizations to educate on ways to protect personal vehicles.
