Purple Heart Recipient

Two plates are issued for cars and light trucks owned by recipients of the Purple Heart medal. An annual $3 fee is collected for the first set of plates. If you want additional sets, there is no fee per set payable to TxDMV, but you must pay your regular registration fee and other applicable fees.
