Order Specialty Plates

We offer a wide selection of specialty license plates. Some are sold through a private vendor while others are available directly from the TxDMV.

You may order street-legal Texas specialty license plates from three areas:

- Charity Plates. These specialty license plates benefit non-profit organizations and government programs.

- Qualifying Plates. You must meet eligibility requirements to "qualify" for these specialty license plates, such as military.

- My Plates. This is a private vendor authorized by the TxDMV to sell specialty license plates.

You may also order non-street legal license plates, or "Souvenir Plates."
