The Vehicle Titles and Registration Division licenses salvage vehicle dealers and their agents.

As a result of new legislation passed by the 2009 Texas Legislature, Used Automotive Parts Recyclers are required to obtain a license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation beginning September 1, 2010. For more information about this license program, please contact that agency.
