Complaints from Consumers

If you have a complaint about a dealer's sales practices, follow the steps below:

Complete a consumer complaint form and answer all questions.
Attach a copy of the sales contract and other documents you may have received from the dealer.
Sign, date and mail form. Allow 3 to 5 weeks for processing.

If your complaint is about a defective vehicle, you may be able to receive assistance through the Texas Lemon Law.

Complaints from Dealers

If you are a vehicle dealer with a complaint against another dealer, follow the steps below:

Complete a dealer complaint form and answer all questions.
Sign, date and mail form. Allow 3 to 5 weeks for processing.
